About Me

I am an experienced and professional counsellor in Tamworth.

I offer a safe and supportive space to talk in complete confidence and help you understand emotional and behavioural issues or problems that may be troubling you: anxiety, relationship difficulties, depression, grief, abuse, self confidence, eating and much more; and to find the best solution to move forward and bring about change in your life.

I aim to work with each client to offer a therapy which is tailor-made to fit my clients needs and wants [integrative counselling.]

I have always been strongly committed to my professional development and continue to attend workshops and training in order to extend my knowledge. I am also in the process of applying for BACP accreditation.

I am a registered member of BACP and as a committed professional I work within their ethical guidelines to ensure I practise ethically, effectively and safely. I engage in ongoing supervision with a registered counselling supervisor.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a postgraduate qualification from university in Integrative Counselling Practice. Prior to qualifying from university I achieved AQA Certificates in Counselling Skills.

I have worked in a number of different settings. Alongside developing a private counselling practice, I have worked for three days a week in a GP surgery since 2007. I have carried the responsibility for their counselling service largely on my own, which means that I have worked with an extremely broad range of clients who have presented with a wide range of issues and problems.
